National Day of Prayer, May 5th, 2011
The HCPMA sponsored a National Day of Prayer service at the First Baptist Church, Hollywood Blvd., Havelock, on May 5, 2011. The noontime event was well attended and a meaningful experience for everyone who took the time to participate. After the colors were presented, the National Anthem was sung, and the audience recited the Pledge of Allegiance, prayer was offered for several areas of concern. These included our government, military, families, business, education, our churches, and the Media.
A reception followed the service and was enjoyed by people from the Havelock community of churches and MCAS Cherry Point. A special thanks is given to all who participated and to all who helped to prepare this special occasion.
