HCPMA stands for the "Havelock Cherry Point Ministerial Association". HCPMA is a non-profit incorporation that consists of participating U.S. Navy Chaplains from MCAS Cherry Point, 2nd MAW and multi-denominational Christian churches from the Havelock and Harlow area. These entities choose to affiliate with each other in order to bring ministry needs to the off-base military and civilian communities that normally could not be accomplished by one church alone.
The churches of HCPMA have agreed, by their participation, to cooperate together to facilitate several established ministries. HCPMA also meets once a month, as a group, to review ministry progress and to discuss other ministry opportunities. We exist first and formost to serve the Lord in our community, so denominational differences and/or doctrine is not an issue. So, if your Christian church does not have a representative (either Minister or lay leader) involved with the HCPMA, "Contact Us", we'll set you up!
